Baby Bump

So, everyone has been asking me how far along I am, when I tell them I'm pregnant, then they look at me and usually say "You don't look pregnant at all."  I'm tempted to tell them I'm lying so people will spoil me... but I'm not lying, I promise.  I guess because I'm pretty tall (5'11") the baby is just filling out all the inside space before she starts popping out.  I'm just starting my 6th month and I had a request to put a picture of my "Baby Bump" on our blog... so here ya go!

I am friends with the ladies at the bank (I go there a lot to drop off stuff for our company) and yesterday when i walked into the bank, one of my teller friends said "Oh, you're finally beginning to show!"  On that note, all the tellers had to come and see.  "Ooooooooh! You are so cute!!!"  they all kept saying.  I was just glad they were all on the other side of the window so they couldn't pat my stomach!  There should be a cardinal rule that says "You can not pat a pregnant woman's stomach unless you have permission".

The weirdest looks I have gotten are at the gym though.  If you know me at all, you know I've always been obsessed about jogging... it's just something I love to do.  Anyway, I made sure it was kosher with my doctor before I continued to jog, but she reassured me that continuing your normal exercise routine was fine as long as you had been doing it previously, and as long as you didn't go overboard.  So four times a week I trudge to the local gym to run-walk-limp around the track.  I have gotten slower and slower as the weeks have progressed, and I can only go for half as long as I used to, but endurance is the key and it's the effort that counts right?  Anyway, it's pretty entertaining to see the looks I get, especially since half the people at the gym go there to check each other out and to show off their ripples.  I'll show you!  Not really.

Pregnancy is an adventure.  I'm glad I can say that I haven't been really sick at all.... just really tired.  It's a good thing I have a good husband who helps me out a lot.

Funny things about being pregnant:

1. My skin itches like CRAZY!!! I guess a change in hormones causes the itchiness. My favorite thing in the world these days is a good back scratch... so if you are tempted to pat my stomach,.. scratch my back instead ok? ha ha ha

2. I LOVE a good steak.  I've never been a meat person... ever...but now I can't seem to get enough of it.  I wanted to go to a steak place for my birthday but our favorite place has gone out of business!  SAD!!

3.  I have had the strangest dreams.  I don't know what the deal is, but maybe if I start writing them down I could turn into a millionaire like Stephanie Meyer.

4. When I am hungry, or when Baby Baby starts getting hungry.. she sends me hiccups!! I never knew we'd have communication this early on... how can people think these little babies aren't alive inside you?  They totally have little personalities before they come out.

5. When there is a loud noise, the baby can hear it too and she will jump if it catches her off guard. So funny!
